Terms of use
These terms cover using The Weekly Receipt — the quiz, the guides, the deck, and the weekly email. They are written to be read, not skimmed past.
Last updated: 16 July 2026
What this site is
The Weekly Receipt is financial education and entertainment: a money-personality quiz, a collectible deck of archetypes, long-form guides, and a weekly email. It is not personalized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and nothing on the site is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold anything. The full version of that statement lives on the disclaimer page and applies to every page here, including paid content.
Using the free site
The quiz, results, deck, and guides are free. No account exists; the quiz stores your progress in your own browser. You agree to use the site as a normal visitor — no scraping at abusive volume, no attempting to break or impersonate it, no reselling its content as your own.
The weekly email
Subscribing is optional and consent-based: we only email you if you asked, and every email carries a working unsubscribe link. What we store and how to be forgotten is covered by the privacy policy.
Pre-orders and paid products
Some pages let you reserve an upcoming paid product (for example, the Full Read). Reserving is exactly this and nothing more: we record your email and notify you when the product ships. Reserving costs nothing, collects no payment details, and commits you to nothing — when the launch email arrives, buying or ignoring it are equally fine.
No checkout is live on this site today. Before any real purchase is possible, this page will be updated with formal product-sales terms and a clear refund policy — you will never be charged under terms you couldn’t read first.
Our content, your card
The archetypes, artwork, card designs, quiz, and writing belong to The Weekly Receipt. Sharing your own result card — screenshots, downloads, posting the art with your result — is not just allowed but encouraged. What isn’t: republishing the site’s content or art commercially, or passing it off as yours.
No promises, plainly
The site is provided as-is. We work to keep it accurate — statistics on result pages and guides carry links to their sources — but we can’t promise the site is free of errors or interruptions, and we aren’t liable for decisions made on the basis of general educational content. Your money decisions deserve a qualified professional who can see your actual circumstances.
Changes and contact
If these terms change in a way that matters, the date above changes with them, and material changes to anything paid will be announced before they apply. Questions, problems, or requests: hello@theweeklyreceipt.com. A real person reads it.
